Yoga Class at The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong (April 2018) 香港佛法中心瑜伽課 (二零一八年四月)

We are pleased to announce that there will be free Yoga sessions at the Centre again in March 2018. The details are as follows:

Date: 7, 14, 21 and 28 April 2018 (Saturdays)

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 am (Please arrive 10 minutes before the class)

Introduction: Integrated Yoga teaching including postures, breathing techniques, meditation
and deep yoga relaxation. Benefits of Integrated Yoga includes body
stretching, emotional relaxation, improving sleeping quality and cultivating
peace and attention.

Fee: Free of Charge (Donations are welcome; all donations goes to
The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong)

Instructors: Shiao Kuan. Organizer and instructor for wellness activities for many years.
She commenced yoga practice in 2003, and went to Bihar School of Yoga,
India for 4-month advanced yoga course. She consistently goes to India
for Yoga practice every year.

Pandora Woo. Pandora practiced Yoga since 2006. Deeply inspired by the
Philosophy of Yoga, she applies Yoga in daily life, giving it a fresh
understanding. She is studying under the Yoga master Swami Veda Bharati
of the Himalayan tradition, and has been to India for retreat and teacher
training. Pandora has led several Yoga courses in Cancer Funds and for
medical practitioners in the previous years under the theme “Tranquillity
– Equipoise”, cultivating psycho-physical well-being of students and a
positive attitude towards life, as well as enhancing their inner strength.

Carol Lai has more than 15 years experience in the art and science of yoga
and meditation. Her devotion to these arts began during her studies in UK,
then diligently continuing through her work in Japan, and to present day
Hong Kong where she is now based. Also, she is a graduate of the Master
of Buddhist Studies program at HKU in 2009.

課程簡介: 綜合瑜伽課(Integrated Yoga),内容包括瑜伽體式、呼吸法、靜坐和瑜伽大休
息。綜合瑜珈的益處,包括伸展身體,放鬆情緒,改善睡眠品質,幫助培養平靜
和專注。

費用: 費用全免。歡迎參加者在課堂結束後隨喜捐款。捐贈所得將捐給香港佛法中心。

導師簡介: 薛曉光:從事全人健康活動的策劃和教學多年。2003年開始修習瑜伽,2004年赴
印度瑜伽學院(Bihar School of Yoga)參加四個月的進修課程,同時持續每年
前往印度修行。

胡若珮:胡若珮女士自2006年開始修習瑜伽,深受瑜伽的哲理啓發,將之應用
於日常生活,細味人生,有全新的領略。現追隨喜馬拉雅傳統瑜伽大師Swami
Veda Bharati 學習,多次赴印度靜修和參加導師訓練。胡女士在以往數年為癌症
機構及醫護人員指導過多項瑜伽課程,並以『靜、定』為主題,引領學員培養身
心健康,增强內力,擁抱生命。

黎佩兒:修習瑜伽及禪修逾15年。最初接觸瑜伽是在英國唸書的時候,近年在
日本工作時也跟當地瑜伽老師學習。現回流香港,除繼續瑜伽外,還修習襌修。
曾於2009年完成香港大學佛教碩士課程。
